Mr. Deshpande is a towering figure in the Indian manufacturing industry. A Mechanical Engineering graduate who spent over four decades at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, rising from management trainee to senior leadership. He played a pivotal role in transforming the Medium Engines Business
Group into one of Kirloskar’s most successful strategic business units, a testament to his rare blend of operational excellence, engineering rigour, and strategic vision.
